Ludimila Heringer was born in Espírito Santo and after living in São Paulo, Goiás and Tocantins, she put down roots in Pará. Having graduated in dentistry and law, she became an industrial businesswoman by force of fate.

She learned the art of crochet from her aunt in São Paulo, at the age of 8, and her first piece was a red and white wool poncho, which she wore every day to go to school with pride. Time passed and crochet remained in his life, but sporadically, until around 2016 he discovered knitted yarn, a yarn resulting from waste from the textile industry. This new material triggered the revival of the crochet technique, and, when he had to work in Manaus, he began producing decorative pieces and bags.

The free time at the hotel where he stayed became very productive until, upon returning to Belém, he had so many pieces ready that he decided to transform his office into a studio and launched the Daludi Handmade brand. With the brand, he began participating in fairs, bazaars, events, courses and gained a loyal following on social media.

In 2018 Daludi Handmade became part of “Espaço Moda” at Espaço São José Liberto, where he participated in the workshop led by stylist André Lima “Laboratory of Innovation and Development of Creative Identity”. At the workshop, the stylist suggested that he work with clothes. She, who had never done anything like this other than a poncho, accepted the challenge and began developing a clothing collection, diving into the world of crochet once and for all. This is how the Ludimila Heringer brand was born.

The brand seeks to revive the tradition of crochet, casting a beautiful eye on the simplicity of basic stitches, but combining contemporary design, comfort and elegance for the woman who values handmade, artisanal, and wants to have an exclusive piece.
